How it Works

AUTOMATED VERTICAL GARDENING

Vertical farming systems comes in a variety of shapes and styles depending on the needs of the gardener.  This type of gardening is similar to container gardening however our containers are stacked vertically to manage the water and nutrient flow in a manner that benefits, first and foremost, the plant however it also allows better management of the amount of water and nutrients needed to sustain healthy growth.  The net benefit is almost a 100X reduction in the amount of nutrients and water required by the grower.  And offers a minimal amount of time invested to be completely productive at growing food.

  • Tank holds nutrient/water mixture

  • Sump pump moves water and nutrients to towers

  • Digital timer controls pump and precise feeding/watering

  • Drip emitter delivers water and nutrients to pots

  • Stackable pots house plants

  • Water/nutrients drip from pot to pot towards the bottom

  • Mixture of perlite and vermiculite supports plants in pots (soil substitute)
